I previously had a Radeon HD 7970 in my system. I used DDU (as recommended by many) and installed AMD Adrenalin 2019 Edition 19.7.5 drivers prior to installing the new card. I put the 5700 XT in the computer, and it worked straight away. No driver update or tweaks needed. It runs 120 fps, 1440 resolution, at 50 deg. C, which is much cooler than youtube reviews. And it is quiet at that temperature. I am glad that I didn’t buy a more expensive AIB cooler solution. It’s not needed.

Update 2: 2/5 starsOverall I wouldn’t recommend this. I’ve spent more time fixing rather than playing with this…After a recent driver update no matter what I do temps keep rising. I DDU, and reinstall windows, but every game I have just doesn’t work properly anymore. There’s always some sort of issue. Sometimes there will be a line on the screen other times it seems like it works but then cuts the connection to both of my monitors only showing a black screen. Weird thing is the computer is still working. I still hear the game sound and I can move my character but no display… Yes I’ve tried using different cables, ports, and a separate monitor but nothing solved this issue. Any long term use on this is not going to work with this card. Just stay away from this one.Original: 4/5 stars8/9/2019 Short and Long review at bottomTLDR : this would work great if you do not care much about overclocking or if you want to watercool. 1080p, 1440p will be comfortable, 4k can be demanding but managable. Fan can get loud but not a problem with headset. Over all great card.Short review(NEW) Go to amd and get drivers.(UPGRADE) Use DDU to reinstall driversYou will crush almost anything at high to ultra settings 1080p, you will do good at 1440p(given your not cpu bottlenecked like me.) Fan can get loud but not a problem with headset. 4 out of 5 because it was not a smooth complete out of the box experience.Long Review・If first build- Make sure you install drivers from AMDs website. If there is any problems try raising the power limit 50%+. If there still is problems google your situation.・If upgrading- Once you install the gpu, make sure you reinstall fresh new drivers. To do this you need to download DDU, boot windows in safe mode, open DDU, follow instructions, and there should be a option for installing new graphics card on the top left click that and wait. After that is done the AMD adrenaline software should launch and follow that instructions. The only game i’ve had problem with was PUBG the game just kept crashing or didn’t even open.・I increased the power limit of the gpu to 50%+ and that allowed me to open the game.・I also whent into the game files and ran Tslgames.exe as administrator.Ever since there were no more problems. Fix may very depending on your personal rig.Since my cpu is a ryzen 5 2600 I am bottlenecked by cpu so I will not be talling about exact performance. Over all the performance is great. I can max out most games and have at least over 75fps but most games will run over 100fps or 200fps in high to ultra 1080p. If you have a better cpu and/or a better motherboard, you should have much higher fps.Now I have a mini ITX system so if the temperatures are high that is why I also live in southern California which gets really hot especially with no air condition. When ever under load I get about 70 to 80 degrees, but usually stays around 76. Some might not like this but I can assure you that it is not dangerous. It is better to be under 70 degrees but gpus can handle temps pretty good. Just dont go over 90 degrees… Fan can get loud but not a problem with headset. 4 out of 5 because it was not a smooth complete out of the box experience. If there is any updates I will do so with dates above the text like how I did with the first part8/10/19 update 1I got the pubg problem again and it was worse than ever. But updating windows fixed it so I recommend you to update windows if you can.

The impressions that get by other reviewers. This video cards according to them is the best bang for the money. But the reality has been a lot of complaint with crash and stability issue with this chipset. What i do really regret is that i figure out after trying to set to work.Just to have a brief comments guys. Do not buy this card unless something has been done about the crash during the installation of the amd drivers. Tons of owner has reported suddenly crash even playing. In my case. The card boot up… let me install windows.. but listen everytime that i run the wizard of installation of the video card during the detection, the screen came black and no video respond. After hard reset the computer, video came up again during loading. But again initiated windows puff no video signal.I do decide to install the video card into another separate whole computer. And do exactly the same. I wrote to asus asking for support and what you could know is the same that i know.
